Woolgoolga & District Retirement Village (WDRV) is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Catering, Cleaning and Laundry Assistants to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Depending on the role you apply for, your responsibilities will include:
Catering:
- Food preparation and meal service, ensuring meals are nutritious and meet dietary requirements
- Catering for special diets and managing allergies as per residents’ needs
- Stock rotation and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are stocked and organised
- Client liaison and interaction with residents to ensure a positive dining experience
- Meal plating and presentation, ensuring meals are visually appealing
- Adhering to strict privacy and confidentiality standards
- Attending regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry practices
- Reporting hazards or incidents in a timely manner to maintain a safe environment.
Cleaning and / or Laundry:
- Cleaning and laundry services, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the facility
- Adhering to strict privacy and confidentiality standards
- Attending regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry practices
- Reporting hazards or incidents in a timely manner to maintain a safe environment.
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A hospitality qualification or relevant experience in catering, cleaning, or laundry
- A current Federal Police Clearance or the willingness to obtain
- A current Food Safety Certificate or the willingness to obtain (if applying for catering role)
- Evidence of a minimum 2 x COVID-19 Vaccinations
